Cleanliness is the main mission” said Ameet Satam about the mission on Children’s Day.
On the occasion of Children’s Day, hundreds of students along with their parents gathered at Juhu and spent the morning cleaning the streets. From tiny tots to teenagers, students from Utpal Shanghvi School participated in a civic awareness drive at JVPD scheme covering 21 different lanes with a group of 100 volunteers for each lane.
Children were seen cleaning the roads, collecting garbage and painting walls lining the streets. Senior students were seen holding slogans and talking to fellow citizens about segregation of wet waste and dry waste, saying no to plastic and how to stop littering.
